Il souhaite que la commission d’enquête sur la drogue divulgue les documents sur ses liens avec les trafiquants. Le Deputy Speaker et membre du barreau, Sanjeev Teeluckdharry, a logé une motion en Cour suprême, ce mercredi 5 juillet, par l’entremise de ses avocats Me Yash Balgobin, Me Rama Valayden, Me Anoup Goodary et Me Nandraj Patten. Une motion qui sera débattue le 10 juillet.

Sanjeev Teeluckdharry est convoqué devant l’ex-chef juge Paul Lam Shang Leen et ses assesseurs, jeudi 6 juillet. L’avocat souhaite être préparé pour répondre aux questions de la commission. Selon les informations recueillies, Sanjeev Teeluckdharry se rendra devant la commission, ce jeudi, et fera part qu’il attendra la décision de la Cour suprême avant de déposer.

Les points avancés par l’avocat sont les suivants :

• An Order directing the Respondents to make a full and frank disclosure of all documents, records, statements and any other material in its possession which they intend to use against Applicant to enable him to give meaningful evidence/explanation regarding his alleged “conduct, dealing, association with prisoners convicted for drug offences and/or those on remand” and to explain the alleged “dealings in drug trafficking cases in your capacity as Barrister-at- Law.”;
• An Order in the nature of an Injunction restraining and prohibiting the Respondents from inquiring into Applicant’s alleged “conduct, dealing, association with prisoners convicted for drug offences and/or those on remand” and into his alleged “dealings in drug trafficking cases in your capacity as Barrister-at- Law.” until and unless they make a full and frank disclosure of all documents, records, statements and any other material in its possession which they intend to use against me;
• Such other Orders as the Honourable Court may deem fit and proper.
