Quietly or boldly choosing,

Doors opening or closing

Blurred lines in a fog

Far or near

Neither GPS nor MAP

Neither candlelight nor streetlamp

Neither certainty nor confirmation

We walk the edge of maybe,

With hope tucked in our hearts,

Calling it direction,

Calling it choice

Knowing it’s neither, nor.
