Graduation Poem – Class of 2024

Maryam Paurobally.

À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs, d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.

The years have passed

The time has flown.

Finally we’ve reached the last

Of this journey called Primary.

But deep in our hearts,

We’ll fondly treasure

All these unforgettable moments,

With utmost pleasure.

The Fabulous Fairs,

Where we ran wild,

Without fears nor cares

Through the heaving crowd.

The Phenomenal Productions,

Where we amused ourselves,

Putting words to actions

And always trying our best.

And how could we forget:

The never-ending lessons,

The painful detentions,

The hilarious and priceless expressions!

How we laughed!!!

The Playground Affairs,

The Football Fights,

When we became as mad as hares

Chasing each other around.

Today as we solemnly stand,

A fascinating future beckons us.

As we turn the next bend,

Secondary is our next chapter.

Today, also we say goodbye.

But before taking our bow,

Let’s not forget to thank thereby,

All our exceptional, extraordinaire and dedicated

teachers.

You taught us, laughed with us,

And encouraged us by and by.

When things looked bad,

Always, you kept our hopes high.

Let’s also recognise the unwavering support

From our forever friends, protective parents, TA’s,

And well-wishers,

To all of you we say thank you, always!

Congratulations to the Class of 2024. May we shine like

never before!
