Plumes engagées
Lost was i but yet not lost

Maryam Paurobally.
À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs, d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.
Slowly I wandered,
Over the meadows so green,
Below the cornflower blue sky,
Through the wispy grass,
Past trees so lean.
Lost was I,
But yet not lost,
As these beauties my gaze falls upon:
Breath-taking bluebells,
Covered with delicate layers of frost.
Cold was I,
But yet not cold,
As these bluebells warm me to the core.
They bob their heads in lively dance,
And my spirit they take hold.
Weak was I,
But yet not weak,
As I’m filled with immense joy:
When Bluebells are around,
One cannot but feel meek.
Their periwinkle petals
Fluttered in the breeze.
The sprightly leaves danced as well,
But the bluebells outdid them jovially;
They showed no sign to cease.
Now whenever I lie on my couch,
In a weary, contemplative mood,
My thought turns towards the bluebells,
And snaps me out of my loneliness,
Out of my solitude.
