The poetic chaos of abusing a woman

Ayesha Nilmadhub.
À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs, d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.
Never let people abuse you, just because you are a woman.
Just because you are an educated woman, independent
woman.
A mother, daughter, sister, friend, wife, girlfriend.
Who would have thought?
There are people out there ready to slit your throat,
so that they can become the hero for the villain that they
already are.
Let me tell you my dear,
my mother taught me to fight since day 1
and
my father taught me never to give up even if it is day 100.
Whether you try to hinder my path
or
weaken my defence,
I will rise like a phoenix from the ashes.
I will wear my scars like superstars.
I will use the power of my mind, soul and heart for the
world to know
that I am not the ground beneath your feet for you to
trample on.
Be careful when you use your words against the master of
words.
Never twist your tongue when it comes to me.
In chaos, I will gather my warriors
and
I will stand tall.
I am not the one to fall.
You can cause a brawl
but
I am not the one to act like a doll.
I am not the one to fall.
