After your departure, I was given a broom.
To clean the veranda and every room.
I couldn’t stay as a servant.
As I was nonchalant.
Even if it was written in my fate.
I couldn’t stay in that state.
I wanted to break the shackles and fly.
As I didn’t want to stay and cry.
Staying would have been madness.
So, I left and created my own nest.
Where it was cosy.
And where life was easy

Gregory Claudius
At nearly 17 years old, he lives in Palma and is a student at Dr. Regis Chaperon SSS. Dreaming to become a part-time poet and author, he has been able to publish his work after a lot of struggles.
