Plumes engagées
The woman the world cannot forget

Ayesha Nilmadhub.
À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs, d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.
I was born from
an extraordinary woman,
someone who wrote poetry
in secret,
her diary played hide and seek
in the shadows.
You could see her light and
hear the melody off her soul,
an unforgettable echo.
Little did they know, she could
create magic.
In a world so tragic,
she remains a classic.
She carried her soul into
broken skies.
This is where I cannot
see eye to eye.
She danced through the pain
with utmost grace,
a masterpiece time can
never replace.
Though she vanished without
a sign, she remains
an eternal divine.
The ashes of a starborn soul,
forever etched in my heart.
For her, I came not just to life
but into wonder, into a flower,
ever ready to bloom.
