Date: 29/05/23
RE: Request for transfer of Rector and complaints against her
To: whom it may concern
Dear Sir/Madam,

We are requesting to have the rector transferred. We have our rector as the leader of the school who is a very bad leader; she does not possess the requirements to be able to run an academic school, our school. For instance, she does not have good communication skills. She does not have personality, standard and professionalism when interacting with teaching & non-teaching staffs and students. The problems and complaints concerning her are described below since her transfer to Sir Leckraz Teelock SSS.

She is very ill-mannered and talks impolitely and rudely to students. An ex-student was visiting the school to meet his friends and teachers. He greeted her and there was no response from her part. She told him he was not in uniform and started mistreating him. She asked who he was, then the ex- student explained that he was an ex-student and explained his motive for the visit. She replied to him in a very impertinent tone; “pas vine tini tini dans lkl ici”. She has insolent manner when speaking. It is unacceptable that she does not allow an ex-student to meet his friends and teachers.

In addition, a student was called by her during the assembly to read school prayers, as the student went forward, she made comments on his clothes. As the student proceeded to read the school prayers, she loudly shouted; “Shut up stupid, ou pa koner bizin chante l’hyme national avan?!”. That is no way to speak to a student. Normally here at SLT, a student is only requested to read the school prayer and not sing the national anthem. The national anthem is played via a pre-recorded audio. However, she could have politely informed the student. Moreover, infront of everyone, she denigrated the student and said that his short was like a bikini. Similarly, a student was late to school, and she commented on his style saying that it is as if he comes to school only for girlfriends.

Furthermore, a student witnessed her insult a teacher just because the latter was talking to another teacher. She did not even ask why the teacher was having a discussion. She scolded the teacher, she said; “ki ou p faire ici, ou pena class”. Another incident involved a student who got in trouble. The student was sitting near the administration when he spotted his teacher passing by. He went up to talk to him. The rector interrupted their conversation rudely and started talking to the teacher insolently. She told the teacher that he had no right to talk to the student and if he continued would also get in trouble. She even denigrated the SS (the Usher) to call the student’s parents infront of everyone.

Moreover, a student accidentally bumped against her while exiting the school and she falsely accused the student of pushing her. She threatened them that she would have a declaration at the police station against them when in fact the students did not even touch her. Not only, but also a student got in trouble and his parents was called to school. The student did not have any chance at all to explain himself; no freedom of speech. When he said to her that it’s his first time being in the administration, she replied; “to touye 1 dimune apres to dir premier fois to touye kiken”, which is very irrelevant and out of context. When his parents came to school, she spoke to them in a very vulgar way. She did not let them speak at all.

Above are some of the problems and complaints provided by students. There are much more problems, but we cannot write all of them, otherwise the letter will be too long. To summarise the problems, she does not speak with students respectfully and politely. She does not even give students chance to explained themselves and shouts; “Shut up!!”, loudly at them. She always speaks loudly and offensively to exert dominance. Anything that she thinks and assumes is always right and she ignores the truth and justifications provided by others. (…)

Thank you,
