Plumes engagées
Come madame come
Javisth Bhugobaun.
À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs, d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.
Come, madame, come,
From wet bough to cherry ember
My heavy heart lights with a sight of you.
Moving faster than a ship with the wind’s favour.
From darken night to starry light
My eyes glister in your sight.
Let me gaze at the twinkling lights
On your balcony.
Admire the angles of each corner,
The curves of the parapet.
How I would love to hold them
And get lost in such a view.
Let your hair loose and grow on me
Like vines on a tree.
If only by tapping my heels together,
My shoes would walk on the yellow brick road
Into your kingdom and there I will bound myself.
By this bound, I will be free.
All joys are due to thee.
No precious gems can hold my sight
But my foolish eyes lightens at seeing the gem which you are.
A view that is far fairer than heaven.
Oh! I would drown in sight of such a splendid view.
I can even hear the curtains swooning.
But they do not cover the sound
Of my heart falling for you.
So come madame, come
And let me love you.
