The world-wide celebration of end of war, New Year’s Eve 2013

Until there is war, there is poverty. Until there’s war, there is fear, destruction and homelessness. The only ones that do not want an end to war are world dominators. It is because they are aware that an end to war means end of inequality, beginning of social justice, freedom and democracy for all.

Some of the world’s powerful governments, by making incorrect and misleading speeches, claim that they assault other countries to bring democracy and fight against terrorism(such as in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and…) However, in addition to merciless slaughter of the people, they demolish the country’s economic foundations and deteriorate nation’s solidarity. As we all know, any war based by any justification or rationale is considered a crime against peace.

Some fascist and hostile leaders declare war on neighboring countries, crippling and disrupting people’s lives in both countries. In order to provoke and convince people, they speak of patriotism, pride, bravery and sacrifice. On the contrary, they only want to reach their own ill-fated goals.

In order to fight their own enemies, some of the armed organizations in the world, use people and religion as excuses and send innocent and naive kids and teenagers to terror and battle fields. This leads to massacres of innocent humans in the cities’ neighborhoods, markets and temples.

Furthermore, in some countries, dictators use people’s own money to acquire anti-protest equipment and hire people’s children for similar purposes. After demonizing and threatening them, they assign them to attack their own brothers and sisters and suppress any protests, so as to silence the voice of freedom and growth. In that case, tyrants become capable to continue their bullying. However, with declaration of end of war, people’s children in security and military organizations will lay down their arms and won’t fire at their own people. Consequently, the leaders will have to negotiate with their people in a rational way and without violence and, eventually, agree to their demands. Moreover, foreigners won’t get a chance to disturb and attack the country for any reasons.

Therefore, as we can see, wars are neither rational nor holy, and their outcome has been nothing but panic, crime and disaster.

Now, the suggestion is to declare the 2013 New Year’s Eve as the international celebration of end of war in all countries and with all nations’ peoples’ participation, for the sake of an everlasting worldwide peace. Everyone from every class of society: military, revolutionary, religious and etc. should commit that they won’t pick up their arms for any reasons or commands, since war won’t solve any of humanity’s problems.

Be certain that after end of war, world’s other problems will be resolved as well, since the requirement for any major and stable progress and improvement is a permanent worldwide ceasefire:
a) After shutting down all the military related factories, tools and parts that humans actually need will be manufactured instead.

b) After discharging army men from duty, these mighty people will start performing essential and constructive tasks.

c) The enormous military budget will be spent on cultural issues, economics and welfare.

d) Compassionate philosophers, academics and politicians will start planning aimed at benefiting the environment, human health and ending poverty and adversity. With use of available facilities and manpower, they will come up with significant advancements that humans deserve. Even the disadvantaged and hungry people that are widespread in the world will gain the capability to actively contribute to world’s development and prosperity.

In order to prepare for the world-wide celebration of end of war, the following items are recommended:
1- Translate and publish this article in all the languages in the world.
2- Notify others of this article’s materials in any way possible.
3- Prepare poems, chants and songs in regards to the international day of putting an end to war.
4- We expect the political, religious, revolutionary, scientific, literary and artistic leaders and figures and liberal newspaper writers to support this vital and destiny-determining movement in their speeches and writings.
5- Invite the students to write essays regarding the international day of putting an end to war.
6- To inform and remind people of this event, start writing slogans such as “Put Down Your Gun” and “The world-wide celebration of end of War, New Year’s Eve 2013” on appropriate places in cities and keep it a hot topic by discussing it constantly.
7- And finally, in order to reach this important common goal, make use of any peaceful, effective and beautiful techniques.
8 -To make New Year’s Eve 2013 even more glorious, make artistic preparations and display the slogan “Put Down Your Gun” everywhere in every way.

We are all, with enthusiasm, counting days until the world-wide celebration of end of war on New Year’s Eve 2013.
