Let us Hail Lord Krishna

Krishnanand Gupta.

À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs, d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.

On His Janmashtami

Hail the Lord of all creation,

Absolves those who seek devotion

Renders their soul pure and pristine

Elevates them to the divine,

Kindles their faith and does impart

Rays of shining light to their heart,

Instils joys in their loving breast

Sends a quiver down their clean chest

Humbles them ever to resign

Night and day at His pious shrine,

Always guards those who chant His hymns.

Hail the Lord of the universe,

Awarding grace, and generous

Replete with charm and tenderness

Elates those who seek His kindness.

Resplendent with His flute at hand

Always humming tunes to His friend

Memorable are His brave deeds

And charms those who hail Him, indeed.
