Plumes engagées
The selfish love
Gregory Claudius.
À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs, d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.
I feel awful when I used to see tears in your eyes.
Not knowing that behind it was hiding lots of lies.
I was lost in you, and you were lost in me, then why were we searching
each other.
Each time I told you to have patience you told me that it was over.
I told you I love you, but you didn’t wait for me.
My eyes were being desperate just to get you to see.
Even though I try to control my emotions, I can’t.
The only thing I hear is you telling me what you want.
Everything I think of you, my eyes fill with tears.
As I would remember that pink dress you used to wear.
I am now wondering, why did you that to me? Because I only gave
love but never received.
I now understand that you were a statue of lies, and you only know
how to cheat and deceive.
I shall never trust anyone again.
Cause you left wound on my heart that keeps bleeding and gives pain.
Was it true love, if it was, you wouldn’t thing about you and yourself.
You would trust and wait for me. But you were so selfish that you
forgot the promises we made to ourselves.
