The truth about fame
Salmaan Utim
It’s lame that when you are on top of the ladder
Every guy you know calls you brother
Every girl starts to stick like glue
Acquaintances who never talked to you become your best
friends out of the blue
When they never helped or talked to you in the past
You were never their priority; you always came last
But the moment you are famous,
Everyone makes it their priority to shine in your limelight
It’s a shame that no one blames you at
the height of your fame
But when you weren’t popular,
everyone blamed you for your failure
‘Some people will only stick to your side when you are famous.
When you are at the bottom of the ladder
and need help, that’s another story.’
